One of Cameroon’s best leading investigative journalist, Franklin Sone Bayen has criticized the upcoming AAC III and captioned it a platform for bias an unfair judgment centered on personal interest and not on the interest of all Anglophones.

According to a publication on his Facebook wall which he titled AAC III: TO GO OR NOT TO GO? (I) he stated that it is a “forum for disguise capitulation; one where we go to apologize and beg to belong a second time, worse than the first”

This is the full detail of his publication

“AAC III: TO GO OR NOT TO GO? (I)

1.) i won’t go to an AAC that is a forum for disguise capitulation; one where we go to apologize and beg to belong a second time, worse than the first

2.) I won’t go to an AAC that will disown authentic AMBAZONIA resistance groups or describe them as terrorists or bandits. i do not know every individual among them and cannot give account of their actions but as a group, to the best of my knowledge, there were no gun men in our towns, villages and bushes before concerns over our plight escalated. the cause they are sacrificing their lives for, and their security must be top if such an AAC.

3.) i won’t take active part in an AAC that seeks to be a gathering of “good guys” in the absence of or to the exclusion of “bad guys” abroad and in the bush. i won’t be drawn into the good guys/bad guys divide and rule game. our appreciation of things may differ, some may be extremists (maybe i am), some may be moderates, some may be flip floppers blowing left-right-centre-up-down without sense of direction, without focus. some may be in it to seek political recognition and their fans may be in it only as long as their drum-major or “gangster” picks the crown. they are radical when that suits their “gangster’s” posturing, moderate or even compromising as their “gangster’s” interests go. yet, we are all of in the same pot of soup; same fireside, same pepper! and like UK’s PRINCE CHARLES says, quoting LAGOS area boys, “if [something] di show you pepper, [comrades let’s] make pepper soup.”
